Famille
01. FAMILIES, YOUTH AND SENIOR RESIDENTS
A community where everyone matters
For families , we want to facilitate an increase in the number of nursery places and offer more cultural, educational and festive activities adapted to all ages.
For young people , we will develop welcoming and dynamic gathering spaces that promote harmony between generations.
For senior residents , we aim to combat isolation by commissioning a local association "Pour Coppet" to organize tea and dance afternoons, monthly meals, a community taxi service, and various intergenerational events. Digital literacy workshops, in collaboration with the Fondation de la Côte, will further enhance their digital inclusion. Our goal is simple: to enable every senior resident to remain connected, active, and fully integrated into community life.
02. MUNICIPAL FINANCES
A proposal for a tax reduction
The improvement of the Municipality's financial situation, combined with the positive effects of equalization (resource redistribution mechanism between municipalities), allows us to propose a reduction in taxes while ensuring the stability of municipal finances.

03. SECURITY
Taking concrete action for public peace and safety
The rise in antisocial behavior and the feeling of insecurity requires appropriate responses. We propose installing cameras in the three main parking lots , increasing the SDS (private security) mandate to strengthen presence during night-time hours , and setting up a fixed speed camera on the main street, coupled with awareness campaigns to reduce speed in the town center.
Safety around schools is also a priority, therefore we wish to:
-
study the possibility of installing alternating traffic lights at Rojalets to improve the traffic flow during drop-off and pick-up times.
-
strengthen the school crossing guard system
-
install a barrier on the Chaucey road in order to clearly separate the flow of vehicles and pedestrians.
04. SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
Continue a transition already underway
Coppet was one of the first municipalities in the canton of Vaud to join the cantonal Energy & Climate Plan. In 2022, a broad participatory process led to the definition of 30 priority actions with the population. We consider it essential to continue this work consistently and effectively, without changing direction in each legislative term.
Our aim is therefore to implement the actions already decided but not yet carried out, namely district heating network , the creation of the Forest Garden , additional charging stations for electric vehicles, support for a car-free day (SlowUp promoting soft mobility and conviviality), encouragement and assistance to citizen engagement in the ecological transition (in particular with the joint purchase of equipment).
Tattes de Bogis landfill : vigilance is essential . We will oppose the provisional Tattes de Bogis landfill project presented in September 2025 and are committed to closely monitoring its development. This will allow us to carefully assess all its implications and ensure a sustainable protection of the the environment surrounding Coppet.

05. LOCAL ASSOCIATIONS & CULTURE
Supporting those who keep Coppet alive
Local associations are a driving force of our community. We want to strengthen our support for them by creating a dedicated municipal service to facilitate their organization and the implementation of their events and projects. The creation of an online tool will also make it easier to reserve equipment and event spaces. The municipality will remain a logistical and financial partner for projects that enrich local life. We also want to increase the use of cultural infrastructure, particularly the Coppet Museum and exhibition halls, with permanent exhibitions, and create a major cultural event capable of bringing together all generations and showcasing Coppet's cultural identity. Our ambition is to make Coppet a dynamic, vibrant, and accessible cultural hub for everyone.

07. COMMUNICATION
For a municipality closer to its population
Municipal information needs to be more regular, more accessible, and more interactive. To achieve this, we propose replacing Coppet.mag, currently an annual publication, with a new quarterly publication : Coppet.info (4 pages), which will offer more concise content truly focused on local life.
In parallel, we will create two new official channels:
- an Instagram account managed by a media manager,
- a WhatsApp channel for quick and practical information.
These tools will also provide greater visibility for businesses and associations . We want to maintain both digital and printed materials so that no one is excluded from accessing information.
08. MOBILITY
Optimising everyday mobility
We propose installing a bus stop in the town center to facilitate travel to the train station or Nyon. The drop-off zone at the train station will also need to be redesigned to reduce congestion during peak hours and improve the coexistence of buses, cars, and pedestrians.

09. Local Businesses
Strengthening the economic appeal of the town
We are committed to maintaining the current number of parking spaces, which is essential for local businesses. Any temporary or permanent removal of parking spaces will be compensated. We want to better organize and harmonize the space under the arcades to offer a more pleasant and functional environment. Appropriate solutions for waste disposal (access to a dedicated recycling point, specific containers, etc.) will also be studied to meet the needs of the local businesses.
10. SPORT
Encouraging physical activity for everyone
Sport contributes to health, social cohesion, and community vitality. We will facilitate local associations' access to school and sport facilities, particularly by making use of the new space freed up when the ice rink is not in operation between March and October.
Commerce
11. PUBLIC SPACES
Lively and welcoming places
The Esplanade Madame de Staël should become a vibrant space year-round, with improved facilities for the buvette (refreshment stand) and new activities, including the installation of a temporary sauna at the port during the winter . The Parc des Rocailles requires a modernized management. We propose installing an access gate system to collect a fee from non-residents of Coppet, in order to finance improvements, enhance the playground, and better manage visitor flow during peak periods. We also wish to identify a space to create a secure dog park , offering a suitable off-leash area while promoting better coexistence among all users of the public space.
Espace public
Service publique
Ensuring the continuity of useful projects
The ECC group wishes to reaffirm its full support for the projects initiated during the previous legislative term. We believe it is essential to continue these efforts, particularly the redevelopment of Rue des Murs and the creation of underground parking facilities at the entrances to Coppet, in order to sustainably improve the quality of life and mobility for all residents.
